Stats From US Consumer Device Preference Report

Movable Ink’s US Consumer Preference Report offers some answers to that question. As we’ve said in the past, people are more frequently checking their email on the go, and so smartphones account for 46% of messages opened. Tablet’s shot down two percent and now account for 16.5% of email opens.

Desktops closed a gap that had widened last year, gaining back 4% over tablets and smartphones. That said, Apple’s devices are still king, as they make up 55.7% of email opens to Android’s 6.4%.
