Great news for Mac users with Microsoft Office 2016 installed, you will finally be able to use it without any issues! The Latest update for El Capitan, the latest Mac operating system, fixes many issues that users were having when trying to access Microsoft office.
Fix To An Issue Where Outgoing Server Information May Be Missing From Mail
Microsoft Outlook had been experiencing many issues, particularly with Outlook, as users have been unable to access their email. Upon Apple’s release of the El Capitan update, they addressed this directly: “Fixes an issue where outgoing server information may be missing from Mail? Resolves an issue that prevented display of messages and mailboxes in Mail.”
This Update Is Great News
Up until this update, it was found that the only way to make Office 2016 work on Macs was to reboot their computers. It goes without saying that this El Capitan/Microsoft Office 2016 issue prevented many many people from being productive. That said, this update is great news, and follows news from last week regarding a patch for other Microsoft Office Office products.
